AGENCY

The facility in Romania is located in Caransebes, covering an area of 8,500 sqm. Core business: aluminum components for automotive, telecom, microwaves, power tools, led, mechatronics and other industrial applications, from 50 gr to 5 kg.

We started the activity in Romania in 2015, in a plant with an area of 2000 square meters, which proved unsuitable for the development of the activity of casting under pressure, due to the low height of 6 meters, which led us to build a new plant with an area of 5000 sqm and with a height of 11 m, finished in 2018, the plant designed as an open space where we moved the entire production.
We started with a small team of 18 employees, and at the moment we have over 70 employees.
The activity takes place in two shifts of 8 hours each, in all the production departments of the company: diecasting, manual deburring, sandblasting/tumbling, processing with CNC machines
We use the initial plant in which we started the activity as a warehouse for finished products and potential space for expanding the activity, for example painting or surface treatment, services provided externally at this moment.
The administrative offices, the changing rooms, the canteen and the quality control office also remained here.

The quality/metrology department

is equipped with:

– a Boselo x-ray machine, with which we control the diecasting process, we ensure that the parts do not have inclusions and air gaps that can affect the machinability of the diecasted parts.

– Two MCM coordinate measuring machines

– A spectrometer necessary for the daily control of the quality of the alloy in the furnaces, as well as of the composition of the raw material at the reception of the ingots.

All measuring and control devices necessary to ensure the quality of our products.

The raw material is of high quality purchased from import as well as from Romania. At the moment we manage 4 types of alloy that respect FIFO.

The Diecasting sector

is composed of diecasting islands and trimming machines.
Each casting island is composed of a melting furnace, a pressure casting machine and, as the case may be, a robot, as we have in the 950-ton and 320-ton machines, while the 420-ton and 700-ton machines are serviced by operators. In the future, we foresee the use of robots in these two casting machines as well.
The trimming sector is composed of 3 trimming presses, of 25, 30 and 50 tons. This is where the casting network and the air vents on the parts are removed.
The diecasting sector also has a mold maintenance workshop, where maintenance work and small repairs are carried out.

In the Manual deburring sector

we removes burrs left after trimming and small surface defects are removed with specific tools:machine with fixed belt sanders, manual belt sanders, biaxes, sanding machines, files, etc.
Depending on the requirements specified in the customer’s drawings, processing in the CNC sector or sandblasting/vibrofinishing follows the technological flow.

The CNC sector

is equipped with 4 horizontal milling machines and 8 vertical machines.
Of the 8 vertical cnc machines, three HAAS VF3 machines are purchased in 2023 and 2024, one of which with the help of European Funds. In the CNC sector, specific drilling, threading, milling, etc. operations are carried out.

The Sandblasting/tumbling sector

is equipped with:

– a sandblasting machine with metal blades and
– two tumbling lines equipped with Rosler machines. Depending on the customer’s specifications, ceramic, plastic or composite stones are used to meet the required finishing requirements.

In the Straightening department,

parts with strict flatness requirements are controlled and brought to the required parameters. For parts that have very strict cleaning requirements,in the Cleaning sector we use an ultrasonic washing machine that can remove microparticles of up to 65 microns from the threads, and by using detergents, the cleaning requirements required by the customer are ensured. The technological flow ends with the Final Control sector, Assembly and packaging area.
